Event Highlight: EdvationSummit
Earlier this month, DSC Members BIC and Wacom hosted the Edtech Inkathon in the APAC region. Prior to the event, companies submitted their products and ideas. The finalists were invited to join us in Tokyo on 4 November to present their project during EdvationSummit. This included a variety of high quality projects, ranging from kids to fashion design education and from IoT to AI and ExtendedReality.
The jury of judges included representatives from BIC, Microsoft, Wacom, and Masahiro Sato (founder Edtech Japan). Each individual project was great, which made their decision even harder. Ultimately, the judges selected three winners plus one special prize.
We’re pleased to share that the Japanese team CoCreate Class won the first prize with a collaboration project. The second prize was given to the Project William team from Singapore – their project combined Wacom WILL SDK with AI. Third prize went to ConnectedDesk, who delivered an IoT project from Japan.
Finally, the special prize from BIC went to Magicbrush, a team from China, which used stylus’ strokes for an intelligent picture search.
