This Policy applies to persons anywhere in the world (hereinafter “Visitors”) who interact with or use DSC Services to obtain information about our organization, its membership, and membership services offered by DSC.

What Personal Information do we collect?

Transaction Information: DSC does not collect payment information from you. Instead, DSC will send you an invoice for certain services and request that you electronically wire payment for such services to DSC.

Usage and Preference Information: DSC collects information about how you interact with DSC Services. For example, we may aggregate anonymous information about you and other visitors who use our DSC Services. If you turn off cookies, the pixel tag will simply detect an anonymous website visit. Pixel tags help us analyze our visitors’ online behavior and measure the effectiveness of our website. Google Analytics

We use a tool provided by Google LLC called “Google Analytics” to collect information about the use of the Website. The precise information collected can vary by device and environment. We use the information we receive from Google Analytics for Firebase to understand the number of users using the Website and how they behave on the Website.

Google Analytics uses identifiers for advertising on mobile applications such as Android Advertising ID and Advertising Identifier for iOS, and we may collect such identifiers in order to serve you better content. How do we use your Personal Information?

DSC uses the Personal Information that we collect from you to:

  • Contact you via mail, e-mail, or telephone in order to respond to your request for information about DSC Services when you have provided consent for us to do so;
  • Provide you with updates about DSC Services, or other promotions that may be of interest to you;
  • Provide marketing materials where you have provided consent for us to do so;
  • Provide you with support relating to DSC Services and other operational communications that are necessary for the performance of DSC Services you have purchased or requested;

However, in securing Personal Information, we utilize reasonable, generally accepted technical and organizational security measures to protect your Personal Information against loss, misuse, or alteration throughout collection, transmission, processing, and storage, including the physical security of our facilities.

For example, whenever we collect Personal Information, it is encrypted and transmitted to us using the latest secure transport layer protocol TLS 1.2 encryption methods. You can verify this in different ways on different browsers by looking for a closed locked icon, a green location bar, or verifying that “https” is used at the beginning of the address on the web page.

Children’s Information

Content on our Website is not intended to be directed towards children who are under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13, nor do we intentionally market services to anyone under the age of 13. If DSC becomes aware that a child has provided Personal Information without parental consent, that Personal Information will be deleted from our databases.

International Transfer of Information

The Personal Information we collect from you as described above may be collected, transferred to, and stored in countries outside of the jurisdiction in which you reside, for the purposes specified in this Policy.
