We are thrilled to welcome our newest member, PILOT!

Read their statement about joining the Digital Stationery Consortium, Inc.:

In 1918, PILOT Corporation was founded and started selling the first ever made – entirely-in-Japan – fountain pen. For over a century, we, PILOT have continued to play an important role in the writing culture. Today, as a manufacturer of writing instruments, we sell a wide range of ballpoint pens, mechanical pencils, and other tools involving writing, in addition to fountain pens, in over 190 countries and regions.

In the digital field, PILOT started selling pressure-sensitive stylus pens for PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) in the 1990s, which made PILOT well-known in the field both with our own branded and OEM products. As a collaboration project with DSC members, we started the co-creation with Wacom in 2021. In 2023, we released “Dr. Grip Digital for Wacom,” loaded with EMR (Electro-magnetic Resonance) technology into the body of “Dr. Grip” which is a writing instrument that has been widely supported by many people as an ergonomic pen.

Furthermore, in 2025, we will provide the digital pen “Dr. GRIP DIGITAL,” optimized for long hours of learning, loaded with Wacom’s AES (Active ES) technology for the exclusive tablets supplied by Z-kai Inc.
