Event Highlight

All about Wacom’s upcoming Connected Ink Event!

Connected Ink is an event that creates a space for continuous exploration about the future of human creativity by asking questions, exchanging ideas and inspiring ourselves about new and alternative ideas.
Established as an event of “Creative Chaos”, imaginative and curious people from all walks of life come together and share surprising discoveries, unique perspectives, and immersive expressions at the convergence of art, education, science and technology.
This year’s event will take place from November 6th- 19th, with presentations, activities, and performances originating from five locations: Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Duesseldorf and Portland. All sessions are free and open to attend in-person with many being broadcast live for viewing and participation from anywhere.
See the full schedule of activities and register at the link on the pictures below (due to limited seating, registration is required for in-person attendance):

The DSC will be in Düsseldorf and Tokyo with the following topics:

The evolution of drawing and writing with analog and digital ink.

Tokyo: Live Panel discussion, November 18th @ 17:00 to 17:30

At the panel discussion in Tokyo our DSC members from E Ink, Fujitsu, Montblanc, Samsung and Wacom will be talking about the co-existence of analog and digital ink.

Do the worlds of analog and digital ink complement and interact with each other – even go hand in hand? What motivates people to use ink in daily life, whether analog or digital? We want to dive into the diversity of ink behaviors and see how analog ink influences and inspires our digital world!

Boosting new smart stationery solutions

Düsseldorf, Germany: Technology Day, November 10th @ 15:00 to 16:00

Our members work together to effectively develop new smart stationery solutions. At the Connected Ink Event DSC the members Lamy, Montblanc, Samsung, Staedtler, and Wacom will be sharing their story of how their DSC membership and the collaborations with other members has helped them to accomplish their ambitious goals towards the digital approach.

We are looking forward to informative and interesting discussions!
