Wacom will be granting DSC members a free license of their WILL SDK for ink also for commercial use.

Wacom has recently introduced the new WILL SDK for ink 3.0, a platform and device agnostic Universal Ink solution that offers developers a reliable foundation to create exciting digital inking apps.

The software development kit has been designed to enable developers to add state-of-the-art digital ink features to existing applications – or create entirely new ones. The improved rendering pipeline offers the flexibility to configure, replace or omit modules as required, while the enhanced Universal Ink Model and underlying data format can be used to exchange ink content between apps.
